I often thought that I was the lone voice in San Diego, blogging about mortgages.
Dan Melson writes an excellent weblog called Searchlight Crusade. I see his stuff in many of the real estate carnivals. Dan is a good writer and strikes me as one of the more knowledgeable guys in town.
Bill Lyons, founder of LEI Financial has started blogging. I've never met the man but I'm a fan. His weblog, The Lyons Den, is a more personal approach to blogging than the corporate attempt. He discusses health, spirituality, and of course, mortgage financing. We've led somewhat parallel lives although I believe that Bill has implemented better than I have. He's quite successful. His first post was somewhat company-centric but he's getting the hang of it. I'll bet it's a weekly read for me like Dan's is.
Am I nuts to highlight the local competition? It's a big county. There's plenty of business for all of us.
I'm hardly alone; with Dan and Bill, I'm in good company.
