Teresa Boardman at the St. Paul Real Estate Blog hosts an annual virtual pumpkin carving contest. Princesa Margarita (my daughter) has entered the contest for the past few years; it's turned into a sort of annual Halloween tradition for her. Maggie's entry is on the right.
Teresa is limiting the entries to the first 40 and posted the rules on her site:
Times have changed so this year all entries will be carved or decorated would be more accurate using Picnik.com, you do not need a premium account and Picnik.com has a free version. All you need is internet access and a web browser. There will be a grand prize this year, a one year Picnik.com premium account. I used my account and of course my camera to create the photo in this post. . . and maybe a computer and a keyboard and probably my mouse but you get what I mean.
Why would San Diegans enter a contest in St Paul, MN? It's virtual. Anyone can enter! Hurry over and submit your entry today.
PS: Teresa should be in San Diego next month, for the N.A.R. Convention and Expo. If someone from America's Finest City wins, we can arrange for a real (not virtual) photo with her.
